Actor, comedian and filmmaker Sunil Pal, who worked with Khan in the 2014 film Kick and has appeared in many other Hindi films, slammed Karan Johar for his participation in the 2015 AIB roast, his questions on Koffee With Karan and mocking the LGBTQ community. He also questioned Akshay Kumar for endorsing pan masala and gutka.
Pal further criticised the star culture, saying, “I have acted in over 17 films, many of which are yet to be released. Actors are also selfish and refuse to do promotion once they are paid. I feel the media should also interview them.”All these revelations were made by Pal in an interview with India Ask.
“ALT Balaji offered me the role of a Madrasis but it involved abusive language and I turned it down as I didn’t want to use abusive language on screen,” Pal further said, guiding actors like Manoj Bajpai and Nawazuddin Siddiqui on on-screen swearing.
Karan recently posted a funny long note in Hindi on his Instagram story in which he spoke about changing the way his body looks.
The filmmaker wrote: “Fillers don’t give you satisfaction… makeup doesn’t make you look younger.”
Karan added, “Karlo jitna bhi Botox, lagoge jaise madhumakkhi ne kaat liya… Naak badalne se gand itar nahi banti (No matter how much Botox you do, you will end up looking like a fly bite).”
“Surgery only changes your appearance, not your essence.”
