Blake Lively is shutting down her beauty brand, Blake Brown Beauty.
Blake Lively has had a strong year, not only with cameos in Deadpool and Wolverine, but also hinting at a beauty brand launch soon.
Instagram recently created a new account called “Blake Brown Beauty,” which the 36-year-old actress is following. The page currently follows only the Gossip Girl star, and in one post Blake appears to be tying her hair up while adjusting the collar of her leather jacket. The page also features a gold sparkly logo.
Though there was no caption, fans are already speculating about the launch of a beauty brand, with one user commenting: “Is she launching her own beauty brand?”
“When blakebrownbeauty goes viral and everyone talks about it, everyone remembers me as their first follower,” another follower commented.
Another wrote: “How did I miss this???!!! Yikes!! So. So excited. I’m gonna buy 1000 of them all!! (I hope I do!)”
While Blake has yet to publicly announce the brand on her social media accounts, she is known for always keeping her look impeccable – after all, she played Serena van der Woodsen on Gossip Girl.
The announcement comes on the heels of her cameo in the Marvel movie as Lady Deadpool, a role that many had speculated would go to either her or Taylor Swift. At the premiere, she hinted at her similarity to the character, donning her iconic look of a long-sleeved, off-the-shoulder red and black bodysuit with her platinum blonde hair pulled back in a high ponytail.
When it comes to her beauty secrets, Blake says it’s all about staying true to yourself and feeling comfortable. She told E! Insider in 2016, “I think it’s just about finding what makes you feel good. I’ve looked in magazines and found a style that I liked and tried to copy what everyone else was doing, but it didn’t make me feel good. So I think as long as you embrace your style and make it feel good, that’s fine.”
