A wanted fugitive from Colorado was arrested by Seattle police after an incident at the Capitol on Sunday night.
The Seattle Police Department (SPD) reported that officers arrested a 58-year-old man for threatening and punching an employee at a Seattle LGBTQ nightclub.

SPD said officers were sent to a nightclub in the 1500 block of Broadway at 9:20 p.m. Sunday after a man asked an employee about the cover charge and became angry.
The man is said to have made statements about “shooting at the club.” The employee told officers the man then threw an object at him.
Witnesses also told police that the man talked about “shooting up the club” and punched an employee before leaving.
Seattle nightlife officers then pursued the man to Broadway and East John Street, where he was arrested, SPD said.

The man also reportedly threatened officers while being transported to the King County Jail. He was subsequently booked into jail on charges including four counts of assault and three counts of felony harassment, and was wanted out of Denver, Colorado on a fugitive warrant for DUI.
