THE FLATS – Georgia Tech men’s tennis continues to receive academic honors, with the Collegiate Tennis Association announcing three Yellow Jackets players as ITA Scholars on Monday. In addition to the individual recognition, the program also received ITA All-Academic Team awards.
Krish Arora, Keshav Chopra and Elias Shokley are representing the Yellow Jackets as ITA Scholar-Athletes. This marks the first ITA Scholar-Athlete recognition for Arora and Shokley and the fifth for Chopra. Arora and Chopra were also named to the All-ACC Academic Team in June.
To be selected as an ITA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the current academic year. To be recognized as a program, all members of a team must have a grade point average of at least 3.2.
